Tavia Osbey is the co-founder of MidCitizen Entertainment, a New Orleans-based management company dedicated to developing artists and strengthening the city’s music industry infrastructure. After earning a degree in Business Entrepreneurship from Southern University at New Orleans, Tavia began her career in music management with her first client, Tarriona “Tank” Ball.
Over the past 16 years, she has built a distinguished career managing Grammy Award-winning group Tank and the Bangas and award-winning artist Dawn Richard. Through her work, Tavia has helped guide the careers of influential artists while advocating for sustainable opportunities and growth within New Orleans’ creative economy.
Her accomplishments have earned her recognition as one of Gambit’s 40 Under 40 honorees in 2022 and as one of New Orleans’ most influential business leaders in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Through MidCitizen Entertainment, Tavia has remained committed to building a stronger, more connected infrastructure for the music business in New Orleans.
