Dr. C’MA (she/they) has a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW), and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (LCSW-BACS) based in New Orleans. They also have a LCSW in California and conducts sessions there remotely. They offer presence-centered opportunities for healing, LYFE Coaching, Collaborative Mentorship (social work supervision), and consultation on transformative leadership practices & social service implementation.
They are committed to a therapeutic paradigm-shift in the field of mental health & wellness using a Social Work Embodied (SWE) approach. This approach utilizes a strengths-focused lens grounded in radical compassion and social work’s core values in an effort to re-imagine what healing can Feel like in light of one’s own unique circumstances and the inherently oppressive systems we have learned to navigate throughout our lives: Social Work Embodied is Systemic Harm Reduction (SHaRe).
