Artist; Keller Strings, Owner
Cellist, composer, and producer Jack Craft owns and operates Keller Strings, a landmark of the violin community in New Orleans. Since 2013, Keller Strings has served Baton Rouge to Pensacola as the primary supplier of instruments of the violin family for amateurs, performers, and educators of all levels. Having worked as an active performer for 25 years in both the classical and indie music scenes, Jack brings a practical perspective on the realities of the working class musician.
Craft received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Loyola University under Allen Nisbet, in addition to studies with Dennis Parker and Paul York. He was awarded the top classical honors at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and received the Overture to the Cultural Season Award.
He can most often be seen playing guitar and synthesizer with award-winning indie band Sweet Crude.
