As Marketing Director, he helped lead Tortuga Music Festival to a record-breaking year, earning “Festival of the Year” from the Academy of Country Music (2017). The following year, he became Head of Marketing at White Oak Music Hall, where his strategies helped the multi-stage complex break into Pollstar’s Top 50 Highest-Grossing Clubs by 2019. That same year, his campaigns contributed to more than 1 million attendees and $35M+ in ticket revenue across multiple events.
Today, Mauer serves as VP of Marketing, Data & Technology at Gate 52, overseeing digital strategy, AI and automation, and operational innovation across 2,500+ live events annually at 85+ venues. In 2021, he founded Sparrow, a live event marketing software platform that helps organizers plan, collaborate, and automate their campaigns. To date, Sparrow has powered the sale of over 2 million tickets generating $60M+ in revenue.
