Sophia represents media and entertainment entities in various transactions, as well as record labels, music publishers, musicians, songwriters, and production companies in music-related matters. Sophia’s diverse experience working in television and live music production bolsters her practice — she toured the country with Joe Walsh of the Eagles, which provided her with valuable insights from working with artists, producers, promoters, production companies, music venues, and other creative clientele. Previously, she was legal counsel at Rimas Entertainment. Sophia routinely mentors and guest lectures at law schools and gives back to the music community. She is a professional member of the Recording Academy and the Latin Recording Academy and is a member of the American Bar Association’s Governing Committee for the Entertainment and Sports Industries. Most recently, Sophia was named to the 2024 Hollywood New Leader list by Variety, recognizing young leaders in the industry.
