Music is Medicine

Research shows that music has transformative powers that can help in many aspects of the brain, including pain reduction, stress relief, memory, and brain injuries. This session highlights the positive results of improved emotions from actual music therapy treatments provided to cancer patients receiving infusions and song writing activities in cancer survivor group sessions. The science behind Music is Medicine will be revealed to show the structural and functional changes in the brain.
