From award-winning festivals to nationally-renowned concert venues, Mauer’s marketing strategies have helped events achieve unprecedented growth over his 15+ year career. His focus on data-driven approaches and adoption of innovative technologies has earned recognition as “Most Data-Driven Marketer” (FlyCon, 2015), as well as features in Billboard (“The Festival of the Future”, 2017), Pollstar (“The Comeback”, 2020) and others. As Marketing Director, he helped lead Tortuga Music Festival into a record-breaking year and a “Festival of the Year” award from the Academy of Country Music (2017). The following year, he joined as the Head of Marketing of the multi-stage music complex White Oak Music Hall, growing it to break into the top 50 highest-grossing club venues in the USA by 2019 (Pollstar “Year End Special”). That year alone, his work across multiple events and festivals had contributed to over 1,000,000+ attendees worth $35M+ in ticketing revenues.
Mauer has worked with a wide variety of festivals including Tortuga Music Festival, Buku Music + Art Project, Hogs for the Cause, Beachlife Festival, All IN Music Festival, Hog Farm Hideaway, Hell’s Heroes, Gridlife, Pemberton Music Festival and many more. In 2021, Mauer founded the live event marketing software Sparrow which serves as a comprehensive toolkit designed to assist event organizers in planning, collaborating on, and automating their marketing efforts. To date, Sparrow has helped event marketers sell over 1,700,000+ tickets worth $50M+ in ticket revenue.
