Kailin represents producers, artists, media companies, and distributors in negotiating agreements in connection with the development, financing, licensing, production and distribution of film, television, music and commercial projects. In addition, Kailin advises emerging entertainment and technology companies at various stages of their development — from inception, financing, and restructuring, to mergers and acquisitions.
As a lawyer licensed not only in California, but also in Canada, Kailin has experience in representing clients in cross-border business transactions as well as dispute resolution and litigation management.
In a former life, Kailin was a competitive classical pianist and at the age of 15, obtained her Associate Diploma in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music.
