Prior to running her latest venture The Bloom Effect, Fiona has overseen many careers including her time at EMI Records where she ran marketing campaigns for Digable Planets, Gang Starr, Shara Nelson, The Solsonics, Eternal and others.
She co-owned Sub Verse Music and 3-2-1 Records where she signed and marketed Blackalicious, MF Doom, C-Rayz Walz, Skeme Team and more.
At the parent company Zero Hour Records, she spearheaded the publicity department and ran campaigns for The Notwist, Varnarline, Swervedriver, Space Needle, Steve Wynn, John Wesley Harding, Threadwaxing Space, just to name a few.
As talent booker for Joe’s Pub, she developed the highly popular Late Night Series where she booked artists from around the Globe including early shows with Grammy Winner Robert Glasper, and Grammy winning artist Jazmine Sullivan’s first performance. After booking the downtown NYC venue, she went on to run the International Department at TVT Records managing Pitbull, Lil’ Jon, Teedra Moses, Seven Dust, Ying-Yang Twins and more. Building out International strategy and touring campaigns.
She also showcased and gave NY debuts to some of the hottest indie acts on the scene including Slum Village, Saian Supa Crew, Spank Rock, TTC, Loop Troop, Eternia, Timbuktu, Zion I, Atmosphere, Aloe Blacc, Swollen Members, Dub Inc, to name a few.
Prior to her Record Industry work she was a radio personality in Atlanta with a widely popular hip hop show on WRFG 89.3FM, a party promoter, freelance publicist and a voice-over talent.
