Dr. Lana Joseph-Ford affectionately known by her patients as “Dr. J”, is an entrepreneur in the healthcare industry. She has served as an advocate for musicians’ health throughout the world. Among her most notable clients are world renowned music artists, Drake and Ari Lennox. As a young girl from humble beginnings, Dr. J suffered with hearing difficulties and was bullied because of her speech impediment. Now, she uses her resilience to help others by offering early intervention strategies for individuals with communication disorders. To date, High Level Speech & Hearing Center works with over 250 schools and daycare centers across 23 parishes in Louisiana and has been recognized by the ICIC100 as one of the top minority-owned, woman-led and fastest growing companies in the United States.
Most recently, Dr. J launched Jrumz Ear Wear, a brand of high performance universal and custom earphones, becoming among the first women in the world to launch an earphone company. The company’s mission is to promote gender balance and entrepreneurship in the audio industry.
As a philanthropist, Dr.Joseph-Ford has played a significant role in supporting youth in underserved communities. As an advocate for economic development, she founded Joseph-Ford Enterprises, a multi-million dollar global economic development firm that invests in real estate, small businesses, health and technology.
