Corey Jones is a co-founder of TREBEL, one of the fastest growing licensed music platforms in the world serving millions of users in the United States, Latin America and southeast Asia. At TREBEL, Corey has led multiple business units ranging from product to growth. He is currently the company’s Global Head of Music, where he oversees content strategy and is charged with maximizing user retention and engagement through artist and label partnerships and content-led product innovation. Additionally, Corey and his teams focus on helping artists grow their visibility on the platform, content licensing, and optimizing backend content processes.
Corey previously worked for Century Park Capital Partners, a Los Angeles-based middle market private equity firm, where he led due diligence and financial analyses to support growth equity and buyout transactions. He began his career as an investment banker at Edgeview Partners, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based middle market advisory firm that was acquired by Piper Jaffray.
Corey is a marathon runner and lifelong music aficionado who has performed as a bass and guitar player in several bands. He holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Duke University.
