Allison Shaw (Allie) is multi-faceted and experienced music industry professional. Allie’s passion for music prompted her to create Manic Monkee, a firm which produces,and talent buys for festivals/events/livestreams, artist management, Brandpartnerships/activations, and strategic business development in the music/tech/brand space.

Allison started her career in music writing for MTV and founded national music magazine Hyperactive. She also started the Hyperactive Conference and Music Festival and was the executive director for the Santa Fe Muzik Festival. Allison also served on The New Mexico Music Commission. 

Allison worked for Rachael Ray’s entertainment company Watch Entertainment where she was the co-creator and producer/talent buyer for the Rachael Ray Feedback Party during SXSW. She was also the Operations Manager/A&R for Watch’s label Listen Records/Sony. 

Shaw formerly was the Head of Partnerships for Muzooka where she built strategic partnerships and integrations with DSPs, PROs, labels, publishers, artist teams, and management companies.

Shaw is also co-creator/talent buyer for the Annual Whole Foods/Whole Planet Foundation SXSW showcase which produced the first ever Amazon SXSW appearance.

Allison got the absolute privilege of working with Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees Public Enemy as Head of Brand Development.

Shaw was the CMO for the new TLD .music/Dotmusic where she worked on getting partnerships and support from many music organizations around the globe that included Lyricfind, The Orchard, A2IM, RIAA, NAMM, ASCAP, SESAC,  BMI, HFA, GEMA, SOCAN The Recording Academy and more.

Shaw has worked on multiple festivals and events including the acclaimed Moogfest, Sunstock Solar Festival, Tarfest, Santa Fe Muzik Festival and currently is the SVP of Festival Operations, Talent & Strategy for Pure Imagination Music Festival and producer/talent buyer for Good Karma Festival.

Allison sits on the Board Of Directors for Sweet Relief Musicians Fund and Charity Bomb.
