Eduardo Courtade is a seasoned Spanish-language entertainment producer, musician, and marketing consultant with over 28 years of experience in programming, branding, and business development across broadcast, streaming, and live events. A proud graduate of Loyola University, he earned his degree in Music Industry Studies and Marketing, laying the foundation for his lifelong mission to connect people through music, culture, and Entertainment.
A pioneer in the New Orleans Spanish rock scene, Eduardo was a founding member of one of the city’s first Spanish rock bands in 1997. While performing, he also organized promotional and production support for renowned Latin artists such as Fabulosos Cadillacs, Kinky, Bunbury, Café Tacvba, Miguel Mateos, Alejandra Guzmán, and Enanitos Verdes. His influence extended beyond music when he played a key role in launching La Mega 107.5 and two other successful radio stations, shaping the Spanish-language radio landscape in New Orleans. He set the stage for the future of Latin entertainment in New Orleans, spearheading groundbreaking events like Mosaico at House of Blues, Extravaganza at The Red Room, and Tumbao at Twiropa—establishing a new benchmark for Hispanic cultural events in the city.
Passionate about culture and community, Eduardo is a founding member of Krewe de Mayahuel, a nonprofit promoting Mexican culture and traditions in New Orleans. Mayahuel created the city’s largest “Día de Muertos” parade and organized key cultural events such as “15 de Septiembre” celebrations, “Posadas,” and tequila tastings, raising funds for other cultural organizations. In addition to his entertainment and advocacy work, he serves as the 2025 Chairman for the American Cancer Society’s “Men Wear Pink” campaign, helping to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.
